John O'Hara

John is a LPL Financial Advisor with Asset Management Group, maintaining his series 7 and 66 licenses through LPL Financial. After majoring in Electrical Engineering at Cal Poly SLO, John went on to work for a defense contractor. After seven years in the defense world, he went back to school to earn his MBA from the University of Arizona and pursue his passion for helping others manage their finances. John works with clients of all ages and stages in the wealth management process, helping them invest in their future and the future of the people and things that they care most deeply about.

John lives in Durham with his wife Mallory and two daughters, Kensington and Clancy. They enjoy country life with two horses, a dog, a cat, two goats, and 30 chickens on the family farm. When not working, John loves spending time with his family, being involved at his church, and riding adventure motorcycles on the areas many dirt roads.
