Matt Donner was born and raised in Chico California. After graduating from Pleasant Valley High School he moved to South America where he attended school in Argentina for a year. He returned to the U.S. and graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in Journalism & Mass Communication.

Upon completion of his college education he moved to San Francisco where he spent 8 years working in strategic advertising positions for CNET, Yahoo, McCann Erickson and other industry leading organizations.

In January of 2011, Matt returned to Chico to join Asset Management Group. He works closely with Sally Hayes and Dick Donner to assist clients in the areas of retirement planning, college savings, tax-sheltered investments and general stock and bond accounts. Matt is currently accepting new clients. He maintains his series 7 and 66 registrations.
